How to open a project made in a recent version of zbrush in an older version?
Almost finishing a long project that concludes on another computer and opened the project on my computer with older version of zbrush, but the file does not open "… this file has been created by a newer zbrhush version (4.73) this version of zbrush Is unable to read such files … "
Please, I appreciate any help.
ZBrush files aren’t backwards compatible. You’d need to export as OBJ, MA, or possibly FBX.
Not sure if this will work for what you need but might be a helpful workaround.
Go to you highest subD and delete lower divisions. Then export from new and import to old software. In the older version of ZBrush press the Reconstruct Subdiv button until it gets back to its lowest level.
