Is Anyone Else Having Trouble With Their Wacom Tablets & ZBrush 2019???

Hey,

I’m using a Wacom Intuos 4 and no matter what I set the two buttons on the pen to, via Wacom Tablet Properties, it’s stuck at the alt-modifier and right-click.

I set my custom menu’s to keybind “y” and when I press “y” on my keyboard it works.

But when I set Wacom Tablet Properties Pen Buttons to “y” it stays as alt-modifier and right-click.

If I set the Wacom Express Keys to “y” the keybind works and opens my menus.

TLDR: Wacom Pen Buttons are stuck to alt-modifier and right-click and doesn’t seem to be registering any changes.

Is anyone else facing this problem?

I don’t get this problem with Photoshop or my Browser.

And this seems to be happening just as I updated to ZBrush 2019.

And I turned off Windows Ink.

my old cintiq 21 with windows7 works fine, but I never customized the button for ZB

I am also having Wacom issues, but it relates to the remote’s buttons not mapping correctly. They are defaulting to the settings for All Other in the control panel. I have a bad feeling that it may be due to the newness of ZBrush2019 and will require an update from Wacom. When that happens, who knows?

omg customizing one of the buttons as for example “y” and then using the alt, ctrl, shift modifers + “y” to open up different custom menus streamlines myworkflow SO MUCH… it was beautiful when it worked before ZBrush 2019.

@kegocan

yeah I submitted a ticket to support and they said it’s up to Wacom to update their drivers. Their last update was in December 2018. Support said to submit a ticket to Wacom and if they find ZBrush is a contributing factor to this issue then they will collaborate to resolve the issue.

:\

@kegocan AND ANYONE ELSE WHO MAY BE EXPERIENCING PROBLEMS WITH THEIR WACOM AND MAPPING… this is from Wacom and it solved my problem… maybe it will solve yours as well!
