I’m aware of the ‘Benchmarking in Zbrush’ thread - but I feel the built-in benchmarking method does not necessarily give useful/valid results. If you enable Preferences/Utilities/Timing Info, ZBrush will display timing values at the bottom of the screen. I’m pretty sure these one of these values correspond to the actual framerate of the viewport. So if we could all agree on a document resolution and a high-poly model, maybe it would be more relevant to post these timing values. What do you think? Or is this the same method that ZBrush is using to display the built-in results? I wonder because I feel sometimes the difference between various systems is marginal, while I would think the actual performance of high-end systems would be much better. Maybe not?
