How to selct 1 subtool and hide the others

Hello
I would like to know the shortcut to select 1 subtool and then press a key to hide automatically the others subtools.
Using a english version of Zbrush BUT french keyboard.

I already try this key: “, :” but on a french keyboard, theses signs are on 2 different keys.
So I guess it would be the “french shortcut” for it.
Any idea?

thanks

Select the one you want to work with, Ctrl+shift click on it in the subtools panel. The others hide/show.

Thanks a lot.

Last thing: how can I duplicate a subtool directly on screen/main window, without going on the subtool palette and clic on duplicate?

Thanks a lot.

Using transpose move, and holding ctrl+ l click and drag on one of the circles will duplicate it, it becomes part of the first but can be seperated with groups split or split masked.

Thanks a lot again.

For the 1st tip, is there another way to select one subtool and hide the other, directly on the Main window?
I mean for example, when you have 2 subtools on screen. If you “alt-clic” on a subtool you can jump directly from one subtool to another pretty quickly.
I would prefer not having to go back to the subtool palette to search again the subtool, “ctrl+****” on it to hide/show others.
You know what I mean?

‘Solo’ button at the bottom of right shelf.

Shortcut for Solo mode-

Preferences>Edit>Allow Click to Solo- You can then click on the screen with active subtool to make the other subtools disappear on the screen, and click again on the canvas to make them reappear. Can be a little confusing if you are butterfingered like me, but the Solo button on the lower right shelf will be highlighted if you unintentionally click on the screen and the other tools suddenly vanish.

Thanks everyone.
“Solo” button might do the trick for now.
thanks.
