How to merge multiple vertices?

Hello, I just learned how to stitch 2 vertices together using the zModeler, but I am still unsure how to merge large clumps of vertices together. For example, if there are 7 vertices and I’d like to merge them all to 1 in the middle, is there a way to do that quickly in ZBrush??

Thank you for your time!

Tool: Geometry: Modify Topology: Weld Points. There’s also a weld distance slider.

Hi @RoyalSkies

For a ZModeler approach I might also recommend the following:

  1. Delete all the polygons in the area you want to collapse into a single point.

  2. Use the ZModeler> Edge> Collapse> Hole, and click on the edge of the hole.

This may be suitable for mostly flat surfaces, but may alter the form of more complex surfaces. If you need to preserve the form of the surface, it may be necessary to do this manually edge by edge with either the Edge> Collapse< Edge function or Point> Stitch functions to preserve the points that you need to keep.

Thank you both!!! Both solutions worked perfectly!!!
