How To Make Teeth?

Hi everybody, and thank you so much for the help last time. I have now tried to do my first creature (just the model, no textures or details) and I’m having a great time!

I remember a couple of weeks ago when Pixolator showed us his great tutorials for making small props (with masking and deformation)…….My question is if there is any chance to make teeth this way. I know how to make one tooth but I would like to have the teeth in one singel 3d-model. I have tried and come up with an object that kinda look like teeth but it is really NOTHING compared to Pixolators “RRR” series…(woow, he really knows what he’s doing).

So, I’m leaving this to all you zbrusherzzzz out there………thank you so much!

Take care and keep up the great work everybody!

Well, I’m far from an expert, but these are the teeth I made. Masked off a cylinder in thin columns and one row, then used inflate a little in the negative. This probably isn’t what you’re looking for, but I love to sound like I know what I’m talking about.

Hi Pat…Here’s a Tutorial by Pixolator, he posted it a while back. I use it all the time & it works great. Once you get the feel of working with it, you can alter the alpha & other areas of to get different results. I think if you follow it in the steps provided, you’ll get what you want. I hope this helps some??? If you have any problems let me know. See’ya later… Mark.

Hey FrogDot…That’s one great smile! Actually - it’s a great image totally.

PS: Pixolator, I hope you don’t mind if I posted your tutorial???

WOOOOOOOOOOW!!!

Thank you so much Kruzr. This is the second time you help me and I appreciate it soooo much, you are the man!!

A big thanks to you frogdot too, that was really a cool way and I will definitely try that one also (I like your image!!).

Thank you Pixolator also for making that tutorial.

I’m very grateful!

See you later buddies!

where do we get the alpha that is mentioned in the above tutorial?

also you can make teeth out of a zsphere model. arrange a row of zspheres as gum, then put zspheres as teeth with a little distance, make adaptive skin, model to your liking, and lastly inflate slightly to get rid of the distances between the teeth…

NeoFight, you need to take the picture into an image program (or ZBrush) and crop or capture the region of the alpha. Then import the image into the Alpha palette.

Hi Neo
Maybe you will find some Alpha teeh in this sort of reseach !
