How to I create a HD turntable video in the largest screen size?

When I am creating my turntable by using the “Movie” option in Zbrush, I select “Doc” and “Large”.

I am not sure why everytime I create the turntable, the .MPG video file generated always have a frame width of 1092 and frame height of 680.

This is the same for the “Large” or “Medium” option.

The zbrush knowledge base states that if I select “Large”, the video generated should be the same size as my screen.

but this is never the case.

I see zbrush turntable on youtube with 1080p.

I have search online for solutions but cannot find anything on this simple problem.

It is rather frastrating when you keep searching but cannot find anything remotely solves my problem.

can some one please tell me how do I create a HD turntable video with the largest screen size available?

How do I get a 1080p turntable video on youtube?

Thank you

Hello @One_Above_All

Sorry you’re having some trouble here!

When you export a movie with “Window” and “Large” selected, you will export a movie of your entire interface at whatever resolution your screen is set to.

When you export a movie with “Doc” and “Large” selected, only the canvas area will be exported. This is determined by the document size settings in the Document palette. If the width and height are set to 1920 x 1080, you will export at that size.

Note that if you first create a movie with the document set to one size then resize the document in the same session, you must “delete” the current movie in the Movie Palette and re-record/export it in order for the new size settings to take effect.

Let us know if this is not your experience. Good luck!
