How do I instance a single mesh with UVs using Nanomesh without losing or distorting them?

I have this bracelet and the spikes are instances. The reference spike has UVs, however once I commit them to the bracelet the UVs are gone. I tried the Joseph Drust instructions by unwrapping the underlying mesh as well, however once I decide to split the spikes into a separate subtool, the UVs mess up.

Ideally, what I’d like to do is to transfer the UVs from one of the spikes to all of the rest instances. Can anyone help with that?
