That’s a very cool character, good job. I would just hate to meet him in the middle of the woods somewhere. Makes me think of Deliverance.

Yeah, very “singular”…:+1:

I would only reduce the effect of the half head cavity - or crashed cranium - but this is just my personal opinion…Anyway: Number ONE!!

This reminds me of the move ‘deliverance’. :slight_smile: Good work and all he’s missing is the banjo :slight_smile: (LOL I have a mate who’ll kill me for posting that comment lol.) Excellent character, great design.:+1:

Thanks for the coments.
This is the design for a display bust that i have to make in silicone.
I will after that sculpt it in plastiline take the mold and a silicone skin that I will finish with hair etc…

I agree with Luca. I think it would look more effective with the brain not showing and the head less caved in. I feel my attention is divided between the caved in head and the face. I am drawn to the caved in head visually and I think the face should be the focal point since it convey’s so much character and is sculpted so well. but that’s just my opinion.

Art is very much a matter of taste. Amazing modeling though and I wish I could even come close to doing something this good. :slight_smile:

BTW, how did you paint this guy? Polypaint or Zapplink etc.?

Paint Guy: About the cavity an the brain, well i would love other choose but the client want that effect so I will have to say I will do it.
Anyway I think that´s a fantastic character and very extreme.
So parodic.
Anyway thank you very much for the effort to make the coment, that means that you are interested in the character.

Arturo, I hope you didn’t mind the constructive criticism. They were just suggestions, but either way this is an excellent piece. I especially like the final picture and the little hairs on the chin.

I was suprised you said this was for a Client. I thought it was a personal piece. Do you mind if I ask what type of Client wanted this. (Game Studio etc.) I am just curious as to what this would be used for?
