Help.. Lost Some Standard Materials

I was adding new materials to my collection and I have inadvertently lost/deleted (I don’t know how) some of the standard materials.
I was hoping that someone could help me out and help me get them back.
Im missing:-
Toy Plastic
Colorize Glow
Basic MaterialB
Darken Edge
Double Shade1
Tri Shaders
QuadShaders
Fibers1
Fast Overlay
Fresnel Overlay

I would really appreciate help, Thanks.

1) Did you make any changes to your ZData folders? If so, then you were adding the materials in the wrong place. You should never modify the contents of the ZData folder unless specifically instructed to by Pixologic. If this is what you did, you’re going to need to reinstall ZBrush.

  1. If you were adding the materials to your ZStartup\Materials folder, how many did you add? You should not add more than 25 of any given ZStartup item. If you add too many, the interface won’t be able to hold all of them and odd behavior will occur. The ZStartup folders are only for items that you will use constantly. For everything else, use the standard Zfolders such as ZBrush 4.0\ZMaterials. Anything placed there won’t be loaded at launch but will instead be readily accessible through LightBox. If this is what you did, just move the less important materials out of the ZStartup\Materials folder until you’re down to 25 or fewer. (Fewer is better since they do consume RAM at launch.)

very informative, I need to dump my start up mats lol,
I’m getting weird behavior out of some mats, as in they are missing info, (not rendering as intended.)
thx for thread and subsequent reply

Thanks for the help/info aurick.
I moved out a few of the materials and it solved the problem, I appreciate it.
