Thank you in advance

Hi Washington
Go to the Quicklinks and type “hair” in the window text research of your Navigator!

Thank you for the links. I still did not find a post I want. Do Zbrush have alpha channel (Transparent)?

Can ZBrush make texture map like this?

Hi Washington
Menu Draw/sub Menu /Channels can maybe help you !
You have also a tut inside the prog about transparency!
And you can play with the Rgb regulate 0 to 100 intensity!
And you can use the Marcel method to apply a real hair to a volume3D!

Thanks for the TIPS I definately will use it!!! One more thing I need to know is how to make hair brush stroke to paint on the texture map?

Like this one but more thinner lines

Other question after making hair texture map how do you convert the black backcolor using hair texture map into tranparent map? I probably need step by step tutorial because ZBrush have so many functions to click on.

Just down the words “your photo” is the transparent bottom¡
Hope this help.

Hi Washington
You have a button “tranparent” in the Sub Menu Texture
So all pure black color will become transparent !
Pilou

The key with ZBrush texture transparency is that ONLY a color value of 0,0,0 will render as transparent. Even 0,0,1 will render as black instead.

To create your own brush strokes, create an alpha. You can do this by painting a few dots on a clean canvas and then using the MRGBZGrabber to turn them into an alpha. Alphas are used to modify any brush.

Thank you for the tips and love you all!!

Aurick your tip have over a million of brush strokes!!

How do I save a brush stroke with mineral and color settings?

Other question how do you avoid brush from color build up when it is brushed again?
