Hello @Mojtaba_Zia ,

The currently released version of ZBrush/GoZ does not yet support Maya 2023. If you’d like to start a Support Conversation on the issue we could assist you further. Mention that I referred you there from this post.

Thank you!

i don’t understand why, after so many months, goz maya 2023 isn’t supported. Is it something to do with autodesk, or pixologic has had a slow down in updates?

I notice we moved from an update every few days, to none in the last few months.

Wonder why…

Hi @DannyP ,

Any time a supported application releases a new major version, GoZ may also need updated in order to work with that version. There will be a lag time between those releases depending on the extent of the changes and the timing of the next ZBrush release . Please keep this in mind when deciding to upgrade if a specific tool is important to your work.

The next update for ZBrush will contain updated GoZ functionality. Until that update is released, please contact ZBrush Support as suggested above for further assistance.

Thank you!

There had been constant updates on zbrush, untill you guys bought it.

Now it has slowed down quite a bit. Never did we have an update on zbursh version that didn’t support GOZ to maya. Now we do. I wonder if that has something to do with Maxon buying it and pushing Cinema 4D by slowing support to other 3d apps. I hope that is not that case.

Waiting for this new update that will bring Maya 2023 goz integration, while probably Maya 2024 will go out.

Thanks for the reply, 1 month ago, and yet no new updates.

Yeah, this is getting a bit ridiculous. Maya 2023 was launched in March of this year. A full 6 months out. Come on, we can do better than this.

Let’s not forget that zbrush is owned by Maxon (competition for maya).
