Getting clean edges

Hello!

I have a model that has wavy edges. However, I need to convert these wavy edges to hard / sharp edges.
Therefore I hid the wavy edges on the highest SubDiv. Then I tried to delete the hidden points. ZBrush told me I need to switch to SubDiv 0 to delete the hidden points.
However, when I switch to SubDiv 0, I get jagged edges (which is not what I want).

Also, if I hide the wavy edges on SubDiv 0 (instead of the hightest SubDiv), the results are perfectly the same: Jagged edges.

How could I achieve what I want to do?

Thank you.

You can’t slice through polygons, so your cuts needs to be along an edge loop in order to get clean results.

All is not lost, however. Try a Clip brush to align those bottom points along a straight line.

You could also use one of the Slice brushes to get a straight line across the bottom before deleting the unwanted part of the mesh.

I found the solution: Hide points, delete points -> Jagged Edges, then Deformer -> Polish by Features -> ZRemesher.
Perfectly geometry as I wanted it.
