from picture to 3d in zbrush

hi,

Ive got a coin as a picture and I would like to make it a 3d model in zbrush, the coin has lots of details, what techniques and options does zbrush offer to do this ? Can you give me some hints or tutorials ?

Thanks!

There is no real easy way of achieving a high end result unless you choose to re-model the relief using the picture as reference, or to have the relief digitally scanned from the coin itself.

If its just for basic visual purposes you can load the image as an alpha and see how well zbrush converts the depth information.

hey , just make a disk shape, then subdivide the mesh about 8 times then turn the coin image into an alpha and imprint it both sides then edgeit up . …done
