FREE alphas from Polaris... SKIN this time

Hi all !

Here are a bunch of alphas dedicated to the use of Projection master to paint skin on your models…

You can use for whatever you want, but I made them basicaly for skin…

Special thanks to My IRC friend Forty for helping me with ideas…

Here is a simple example of what the alphas make…sorry for poor quality JPEG compression is not the greatest…

here is the link: http://s91842597.onlinehome.us/polaris_shinalpha1.zip

Alphas for everything from Pimples to tough Rhino hide

also alphas are 100% seamless so you can use to make seamless tiles if you wish…

Hope you all like this…

If you have a request for an alpha that I have missed please post it, and I will make it for you

These look fantastic Polaris! Thx for sharing with the rest of us.

Thank you for all the effort, and for your generosity in sharing these resources, Mr. P… (And you too 40… )
The assets you share are wonderful, but the spirit behind these gifts is even more positive in my mind.
You make this a better place, Amigo.
:+1: :sunglasses: :+1:

Had a request on the IRC  special thanksa to soeren

here are some tears for makeing small wrinkles and crows feet…

COOL!

Thanks for complement SC! your website is what brought me to Zbrush in first place…you used to have a site with a bunch of free head models

I love shareing, and ZBC is the best place to share… it got me into CG art like I have never dreamed, and the people here are verry free with information and input

Definitely a worthy post. Thank you, my friend, for your unselfish efforts. I’m sure I’ll be using many of these great alpha textures on my own models!

Sven

very nice Alpha brush Polaris thx

Thanks for these Polaris - most generous

Are they all made using Texture Maker? If so I must get it out again and have a play.

Thanks for the maps Polaris30, I know this is a dumb question, but where do they live in Zbrush so that they are automatically available when I startup Zbrush.
Only been using Zbrush a couple of weeks
Thanks

Thanks for all the Kind replies…

@ BoneCradle, I generated them in I-Tex… most are from default bumpmap function, some I have tweaked. next to Zbrush I-Tex is best tool I have

@ remus , I dont think we can change the default Alphas… I wish there was a way, I have often thought about makeing a default Zscript that loads custom alphas and textures… I would love to have my custom ones right at hand during startup… there are a few textures I wouldent mind haveing on hand also

@ Everyone else, Thanks for the nice words…

have fun useing them  and if there is any alpha you think I missed or you have request please post them

Thank you Polaris30. :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1:

Cool alphas- I may find a use for 'em some time, thanks Polaris. :+1:

Thanx Polaris, but it must have been Digits’ site… I just finally got my first page together recently… http://personalpages.lightspeed.ca/~stonecutter/HomePage%20VER7/homepagevers07/dragontears.htm

very very cool, thank alot!

I was curious, do you know what that file Gift From Polaris is? It’s a 52 meg EXE file. Never crazy about clicking unknown EXEs.

Thanks again for the link. The others were dead.

It’s a self extracting RAR file. I’ve scanned it with Norton AV, extracted and scanned again. It’s just a BOATLOAD of textures!

 A gift for me… Thanks… im going to take a peek :+1:
