Fair price for ZBrush license?

Hi - New to the forums. Amateur artist/hobbyist trying to figure out what a fair price offer would be for a ZBrush license. Found an eBay seller with prices under $700, but a short transaction history (<12 months). Price seems to be too good to be true, when compared to Pixologic’s MSRP, so I’m a little wary, but I’ve noticed listings here with licenses going for less than $500. At this point, I’m a little confused and was hoping to get some guidance, before being sucked in by a scam. Is there a general target price private users are shooting for when buying ZB licenses?

Pixologic’s price is $795. Novedge.com has it for $649 and they are an official reseller.

That should give you a base price when looking. As for Ebay sellers that’s up to you to decide. It can be risky, but it can be legit as well.

Thanks MentalFrog! Seems like the going rate from resellers is around $650. The eBay seller I found was willing to accept best offers, which seemed interesting, so we’ll see how things go. If it goes sour, will have to go retail.
