Export to 3DS Max

Hi guys,
I don’t know how export my character modeled with ZBrush to my 3ds max.
In the Practice Guide I read to export the model in the .obj extension but how can I do it?In the export options there isn’t this chanche…
Thank you

P.S. I know that 4 import the .obj (exported from ZBrush) in 3DS Max I must download and install the plugin Max2Obj but the problem is that I don’t know how export the model from ZBRush!

The same as you import it; as an .obj…

There is not just a max2obj plugin but also a obj2max

cheers
marc

i have the same problem, i wonder if some files are missing?, i still don’t know how to export…(no 2D export)…please, somebody help me, i’m a completly begginer in zbrush 2…

Only a 3D object can be exported as geometry. If you’ve dropped it to the canvas and painted on it with something like the Snake Hook brush, you won’t be able to export that as anything other than a 2D image.

To export a 3D object as an OBJ, you must select it in the Tool palette and then click the Tool>Export button. OBJ is the default format.

You can also open the Tool>Export menu to get various export options (including DXF). If changing the options, you should then click Tool>Export>Export to make use of them.

Once exported from ZBrush, you need the OBJ2Max plugin to get it into Max 6 or below.

Note: Import and export are disabled in the demo.

thanks;) !!!
