Hi ZBrushers,
i did a promise…
Here is the program (written in Delphi) to convert DXF files into ZScript.
You can edit the Zscript to alter some parameters (DrawSize, Material, RGB Intensity, ecc. )
Download: DXF_Z.zip
Try with your DXF.
Example:
With this program i have converted the images within SanTommaso and CappellaNiccolina threads.

Post your result and feel free to ask any question. Please report any error.

ok…now I just ran it…and this is where I become stupid…(once again) What type of dxf file should I use…and what should i be expecting this to do? I had only 2 dxf files on the computer and it said 0 polygon counts etc…so I cut and pasted the text on the Converter program you made and put it in notepad and saved it as a txt and ran it in z…this is the information that I cut and pasted…

Ron, there are two kinds of .dxf files. The 2d kind and the 3d kind. I think this program is made to only handle the 2d kind like the kind that 2d cad drawing programs generate.

Thank you all.
The program works only with DXF created by Autocad. Export the DXF in version 14 is better.
To begin try this DXF:

I hope to have time to correct and enhance this program.
