I've been in touch with Ton Roosendaal about GoZ support, and he has mentioned contact with Pixologic... so, we'll see!
Even if you're not a dedicated Blender user, still consider supporting it's cause. Blender development sees a lot of attention and feature sets unique to Blender itself and could very well be a part of your future pipeline. The Durian project is focused on refining the great improvements seen in the upcoming [Blender 2.5](http://www.blender.org/development/current-projects/blender-25-project/).
