Nice dragon!
Was it built from a basemesh imported from another application?
I’ve been working on a dragon myself recently, so I’ll pass on what I’ve learned in the process.
For wings, I found it best to have the wing membrane as a subtool.
My computer is not the most powerful in the world, so when i subdivided my original one-piece model, I was not able to get in the level of detail I wanted on the overall model. Wing membranes take up a LOT of polygons, but do not have to be part of the body.
By separating them into a subtool, I was able to further subdivide the body and get a lot more detail into the model.
The same thing applies for horns and teeth.
Hope this info was helpful.
i actually made this strait from zspheres. didnt take me that long.
most recent. i decided to change the horns a bit i think it looks a bit better.
The head seems very squarish like every time it makes a direction change it’s more of an angle, boxy. Maybe make it not so angular. If I make any sense.
Ear holes?
yeah well thats just how i do most of my dragons. i just think it looks more menacing than a rounded face. and as far as earholes i forgot to add those. thanks for reminding me.
well here is the finished version. first 3 weeks using this program and i love it.
