Dinosaur: from 3D model to Bronze cast

We 3D print all the parts with high definition 3D printer.

We make silicon rubber mold and wax from the model.

The bronze casting faithfully represent all the details from the original 3D model.

The model is really well casted, that is a great job. The only problem for me is Tany fundry is a china society and in china they don’t respect any copyright, so that is really dangerous for an artist to work like that.

Here is a bronze trophy we recently cast for Sebastien Gavillet.
We work from Zbrush 3D model and use high definition 3D prainter to create the model and cast bronze.

Above: we 3D print the model.

We use ceramic shell casting technique to cast it in bronze and apply 24K gold leaf on the drum face.
