Demon - Doom 3 style

This is a WIP, it was modeled with Zspheres, taken into maya for symmetry, then taken back into Zbrush as an OBJ.

I still have to finish the detailing as well as the feet.

Any crits are welcome.

I added a bumb map based on the GUV tiles to this, turned out pretty interesting I think.

Man Im really feeling this character. Doom characters are awesome and for me they inspire me a lot.

At this point I think I would work a little bit more on the hands and feet. I would define them a little bit more and then go back to the body and face. Would be nice if you can deform a little bit the arms, shoulders, maybe the hips and legs, to make him a little bit more creepier or more like a science experiment. Maybe you might want to add pipes or wires coming out of the skin or maybe electronic divices attached to his body.

Im working on getting a good displacement and bump in Maya.

I might rig “him” too.

Nice work, but I don’t really see any Doom-like elements in it.
