Solong from the last posting.
Well, here is a preview of a design for a make up. If I´m lucky I willhave to make thatmake up for a comercial. It is so Cute and funny, in compare with what the people use to enquire to do.
there is the model with out skin texture, only color map, all the detaills in photoshop(faster way for the preview).
Hope you like it, and of course any critique will be welcome.

It was so fast the process, I toke very fast the character, I want to keep working on it. I feel happy with it.

I made the texture on it, and other render.
Once again the hait it is photoshop, but most of the detaills are zbrush maps.

That was my favorite cartoon as a kid 
. The intro song is so 80’s. Very cool. U need to model the rest of him and mount him on Swift, his Fox companion. I was thinking about modeling david myself sometime! Awesome looking .
Nice, a decapitated gnome.
I like it but there seems to be a slight struggle on whether it wants to be 3d or more painterly looking.
This would not be so apparent in a whole scene as it is when placed against stark white.
Go on let yourself go and make it all more painterly and less 3D - you’ll thank me for it

You are right if it is only a design, so it could be more a paint than 3D.

I´m not sure if I will make the full body, maybe only if I get the job and i will have to build the costum of the actor, I use to like to make all the character, but not sure if they will let me do the wardrope.

Me parece bien lo de quedar. En cuanto a la nueva versión, mejor, pero prefiero el gorro de la primera, aunque con las costuras en rojo. Curiosa coincidencia que haya dibujado para Plaza Joven algunas ilustraciones de David el Gnomo.
El maquillaje que tengo que hacer no es de David el Gnomo, solo era la referencia favorita, es un Gnomo cualquiera pero quieren el estilol de David el Gnomo.
Puede ser un maquillaje muy chulo.

Hey, we had that cartoon too in The Netherlands. I remember being sad for a day when David and his whife went to the mountains to die in the final episode ( I was a small kid back then).
Very nice model so far. You might want to look into the work of a famous Dutch drawing artist called Rien Poortvliet. He made a series of beautifull books about gnomes, or ‘kabouters’ as they are called in Dutch. I include here an exemple of his drawings, just to look at, no copying please.

Cool image. Yeah I was born in Wassenaar in the Hague. It’s sad to see what kids are watching nowadays. They just dont make em like they used to. Morals aren’t popular anymore.

Yeah, it was a cartoon with morals… it was a calm cartoon, it took its time… it had real animation in it. Not like some of the badly drawn and animated cartoons I see nowadays. It all has to be fast and manga-like. I’m sounding like an old man, but hey, it’s true!
