Curve Brush and Tablet Pressure [Answered]

Hello everyone, I’d like to ask few questions about brushes:

  1. Is there a way to make Curve Tube brush (or any other curve brush) slimmer at the beginning and at the end of the curve?
    And make the width of the tube be affected by a pen pressure?

  2. Can the same be done with the Imbed value of the brush? Like make it small on the beginning and at the end of the curve(like the tube is going from under the surface), or perhaps make it be contolled by pen pressure…

I found the Brush Mod and Brush Imbed graphs in the Tablet Pressure Sub Pallette of the Brush Panel, but I don’t understand how it works… When I change any of them - nothing happens with the Curve Tube brush that I’m playing with… Does it have a global ON/OFF button, or what am I missing?

Tablet pen pressure doesn’t affect the width of the curve but you can adjust it by editing the curve in the Stroke > Curve Modifiers sub-palette. You need to turn on Stroke > Curve Modifiers > Size and click the curve to get it to update.

The only setting that affects the Imbed of the curve is the Brush > Depth >Imbed slider. The image shows some different values. You could edit the curve ends from the side to pull them beneath the surface.
