Cursor turns into a magnifying glass?

R3

So, I click the brushes icon and press M to access the lasso mask brush. Click the lasso mask brush icon, get the message telling me it will now be the default mask, etc. then when I go back to do some sculpting my cursor has become a quite large magnifying glass. Brushes and other functions seem to be working okay. I must have done something to make this happen but I have no idea what. I tried initializing - no change magnifying glass cursor still here. Shut down and restart ZBrush and the magnifying glass cursor is now gone. But I am wondering what I did to make it appear because it is very cool and useful but I would also like to know how to make it go a way again.

Does anyone know about this?

Thank you

Everyone who’s read the documentation knows about it. Check the PDF in your Documentation folder. Also, if you find the default hotkey disruptive you can easily change it to whatever you want.

:o

Hit the letter M on your keyboard, that should kill it off nicely.

Thanks very much, I went back and read the documentation that describes it. I appreciate your kindness.

It’s Shift M for anyone who is googling this.
