Woaw, christian motif - thats fine
I personally have missing the issue, a little, but now I am happy
I don’t know how you creates that, but perhaps more naturalness, tragic, suffering, and divine aura/charisma.
It is difficult to show the beauty and suffering of a man and God. Especially the beauty, as we Christians see in Christ.
Thank you for your wise comments!
This work, made to order.
The customer gave me a picture painted by Rodriguez de Silva Velasquez, as the sample. And also requested to remove excess blood.
I think you all understand…
Ok Oleg, I do not know, how far you want to go on the theme >Christ presentation< and how important is this for you.
Perhaps that is so, in the presentation as business has been already everything ok?
If you say: is finished for me, we don´t need continue this conversation – it is ok.
But if you Velayques or other great artists tried to cite is that always such a Dilemma
Perhaps I show here what I mean in my statements and I put comparison and overlap
between the work of Verlasques and yours.
I hope this is ok.
Sometimes in life there are people who just need someone to criticize… and they have a right and time…
All your comments are correct! Thank you!
I must say, my job - not a copy of painting by Rodriguez de Silva Velasquez, and not an icon. There are still many differences, look closely. For example hair…
I do not have much time as you, but I’ll answer you.
The customer asked me to cross between Jesus and his hands had no openings.
If you look at analogs in the jeweler’s art, you’ll find options where the hands of Jesus is almost parallel to the cross. I do not see the problem.
I’ll give you a chance to talk with the customer, if you want.
May I ask you - who you are and why spend time on it?
Please write a critique on the merits, and not by the rules of icon painting. 12 years ago I painted icons in the interior of the Orthodox church with my assistants, is about 300 square meters of painting. My traditional work, you can see here: olegkoreyba.art

You will find there the material for criticism.
Thank you and Good luck!
Thank you for your fast answer and your time.
In any case I repudiate your qualities and competence.
I meant the criticism was positive and I thought it develops a interesantes conversation.
I personally am someone who is for this theme “God representation” very interested and I have my time
invested for these reasons. In the case, we have to unfortunately different perspective. I just wanted
to hear your ideas, but your Internet pages have convinced me.
I´m sure you are on the right way, and the Disskussion is unnecessary.
It was nice and please, don´t be cross with me
The time is up.
Have a beautiful day and relax. :+1:
Hey Koreyba I think this is stunning work. Great anatomy .I really love the way you sculpt hair.Just curious, is it the slash brush you are using?
I was a bit annoyed to read fischleo’s comments and critiques . Im sorry mate, but I doubt changing the angle of the arms by a few degrees will really matter.I absolutely cannot stand it when people think of modeling/sculpting as just putting polygons in front of a reference image and tracing. There is much beauty in deconstucting how forms work and fit together, without rotoscoping.I agree , you have a little too much time on your hands.
Fabulous sculpt dude , Im a big fan of your work.
Cheers,
D
