Received this when trying to upgrade…I did go thru the deactivation process outlined in the instructions.
Hope theirs a quick fix.
There’s a very simple fix. Tell Windows that Adobe Reader is NOT the default program for .zip files!
At some point in the past, you told Windows that it is. As a result, Adobe Reader is now going to be trying to open ALL .zip files. And I guarantee they’ll all have similar results.
The best fix for this is to select this or any other .zip file. Right-click on it and choose “Open With”. In the popup window, choose Windows Explorer (which will be in the recommended section). Then make sure that the box to “Always use the selected program” is active and click OK.
That’ll fix your problem.
Thanx Aurick…I’m good to go now thanx to you. Have been away from zbrush for a few years now and have fogotten quite a bit of the basics.Ive been concentrating alot in max and cs5 but heard about the new upgrade.and had to make the jump.Happy zbrushing Aurick.
