Hello,
many times I have to bring detail to some parts of the model. I would like to take details from another part of the model to that spot I need to fix. I tried with the Project-Brush and with Projection-Master in combination with the 2D-Clonebrush. But this seems to work only on planes not on a spherical Object for example.
Is there a Workflow I did not figure out? Shouldn’t there be a 3D-Clonebrush? That would be very useful. Or do I miss something?
Thank you for any help. greetings, Holger
make the area you want to clone from facing the camera straight on. Use MRGBZ grabber to grab an alpha.
Adjust the alpha radial fade and adjust your alpha as needed.
Mask the area you want to copy to and invert your mask.
Grab the standard brush, use your new alpha, drag rectangle.
A lot of steps, but it gets the job done.
Thank you for the Reply. That sounds like a ok Solution. Not what I hoped for (like one click brush for 3D-cloning) I will try your suggestion. Thank you. Greetings, Holger
