Hi, when I use the cliprect tool it leaves a thin layer around the cut, how to get rid of that?

Clip Brushes don’t really “cut” anything. For example, when using Clip Rectangle, anything inside the rectangle will be pushed to the edges of the rectangle. So, what you are getting is normal for that brush. It all depends on what you want the final outcome to be. If you want to “cut” something, then maybe a Knife brush or Trim brush or a Slice brush might be a better choice.
