Center Pivot point without moving object?

Hi.

Iv ran into this issue a fair few times, and want a fix for this. I work between Modo and Zbrush. Often Modos world center is not the same as Zbrush, so when I correct the models position in Modo and send it back to Zbrush, I no longer have a center pivot point for symmetry. Using the Transform SPivot is not the answer as all this does is moves the model, not the pivot. I want to essentially get Zbrush to except that its new position is zero, how do I do this?

Thanks, Dan.

have you tried turning on “local symmetry”? you may be able to leave the pivot point alone.

Hi. Yes I have tried this as it does work on this model, but not on all in this situation. I was wondering if I missed a feature that resets things like pivot points, scale, as these things cause me allot of bother, more so scaling between apps.

Thanks, Dan.

May be this could help
http://docs.pixologic.com/reference-guide/tool/polymesh/preview/

Thanks, but that does not fix the problem, moving the cross hair in preview, only moves the geometry, not the center pivot point.

Thanks, Dan

Did you try: Deformation > Unify ?

Deform Unify does the same thing, moves the sub tool to the pivot, not the pivot to the sub tools current position.

Thanks, Dan.
