Can you mask the inside of a mesh?

<style></style>Hi there…

I was wondering if there is a way to mask the inside of a mesh… not just the outside …

Basically I am working on these big floppy ears (kind of of a cross between the ears of a begal and a bat)

The thing is as I build the cavity of the ear I often find that I have accidently pushed the verts though the back of the ear, even though the back of the ear is masked off.

So I am wondering if you can somehow mask the inside of the outer ear so as I sculpt the cavity on the front if I push to far it will just flatten out on the boundary of the back of the ear?

No problem! You need to enable the BackfaceMask in the Brush menu.

Brush menu can be found across the top of the window.

Alpha, Brush, Color,Document,Draw,Edit,Layer etc…

awesome… thank you.
