Camera Framing/ Orbiting

Hi (using zb3 btw)

I’m curious if there was a way to properly frame to a part of an object with the camera and when orbiting it would actually use that framing axis to orbit around.

i know that by pressing . it frames the object but unfortunately it works only if you hide all the rest of the object.

and i’m trying to refine hands. so both hands are visible but arms and body isnt and i’m sculpting in mirror mode and want to only frame on one hand and orbit around properly. right now when i orbit around it goes around both hands.

so how can i frame it properly since i haven’t found yet a solution like in all other 3d tools (they usuall have key shortcut set to F to do that)

thanks in advance

If I’m understanding you, activate the “Local Transformations” button on the right side of the viewer window border. That will orbit the “camera” around the last point you touched on the mesh.

If Ive misundertood, I apologize.

ahhhhh yeah thats exactly it. good to know that button was for that.
thanks a lot!
