Basic texturing - scaling a texture?

Hi All,
If i have a simple thin cube and apply a two-sided planar UV map in ZB2, how can i scale a non-seamless 512 x 512 or 1024 x 1024 texture applied to it?

Right now, i can export an .obj file to Unwrap3D and then scale the UV map in that program, then import back into ZB2, but is there not some way to do this inside ZB2?

Thanks

Hi Jim,

It’s not clear exactly what you’re attempting to accomplish.

However, if the UV mapping does not place the texture exactly the way that you want it you can probably use Projection Master to do the job. Drop your model and then apply the texture to a plane with Zadd turned off. Draw the plane and position/scale the texture how you would like, then pick the model up again. Your texture will now fit whatever UV’s are assigned.

Right Aurick, thanks!

Now i remember that technique from one of the tutorials.

I’m just trying to scale a non-seamless texture to fit a certain size of flat 3D object.

Appreciate the help
