Assassin's creed revelations multiplayer characters

Hi everbody

Assassin’s creed revelations has been released since the 15 november and it’s now time for me to share my work on this project.
I’m part of the industry since assassin’s creed brotherhood, creating concept arts and 3D models for the multiplayer’s ingame characters.
Assassin’s creed revelations is the second project i’ve worked on.
At the characters team we had to focus on the character’s customisation because it was a really strong expectation for the players.
Players must be able to create the avatar they wanted to play with but each characters had to stay unique and very recognizable in terms of colors and shapes.

here is a sample of my work.

if you want to see more images and concept arts you can go on my Cghub galery clicking here

i hope you will enjoy these characters and don’t hesitate to ask questions about the creation of these models.

thank you for watching

best regards

johan

Another item for the top row.

Remarkable work! Are you by any chance swedish? Which school did you attend to?

Amazing work, very clean models.

Nice work. Thanks for sharing. What do you use to retopo and bake out the maps?

Snowflake, julien3d, jDSketch :
thank you guys !

Lithvall :

nope sorry i’m not swedish, i’m french and i come from emile cohl’s school, it’s an art and drawing school.
I’ve learn zbrush by myself using tutorials and awesome internet community such as zbrush central and co.

soulty666:

for the retopo we use topogun, it’s a very powerful tool when it’s time to make low poly model, combining this with the decimation master of zbrush
you can have very precise and light HD mesh to work on and put your polygons where its useful.
