Any Way to Increase Cursor Size?

Hi all,

I’m having issues with the cursor size in 4R8 when using the 3D Gizmo. I’m using a 4K monitor, but this makes the cursor so small that only the black outline is visible when using the 3D Gizmo, or lasso select, etc., which consequently means it’s invisible when hovered over the majority of the background.

Is there any way of increasing the cursor size? I was told that the issue could be resolved by reducing the resolution of my monitor, but I don’t really want to do that.

Thanks, but I’m looking to change the size of the cursor, not the Gizmo. The Gizmo is fine, just one of the situations where the cursor is too small to be practical.

The problem also crops up when I use the lasso select tool, too.

Increase “Max Brush Size” slider in “Preferences > Draw”.

edit: Sorry, I jumped the gun on this one. Not your solution.

Do you mean the white cross hair cursor? I don’t think there is a way to increase the size of that. You could try the Magnifying glass and see if you can incorporate that into your workflow. This doesn’t increase the cross hair size but might make it easier to tell what you’re doing.

Side note. I use a 4 monitor and I don’t have any issues. Mind you, I wear glasses. Maybe see an eye dr?

Am having the same problem, but not all of the time : when the cursor on my 4K screen is really small then restarting windows 10 sometimes resolves the problem.
I can’t figure out why this happens … :confused:
