Any plugins or external application for sketching over zbrush?

I saw this video (which by the way is an awesome video on anatomy) and I would like to ask is there any program or plugin that allows sketching over the sculpture as you sculpt and maybe clear the screen when you want to?

I wanna show some of my friends some pointers I have regarding their sculpts over the video streaming but I wish there is a way I can quickly show things like missing volume by quickly sketching over it.

You already can inside ZBrush. Position model, drop out of edit and grab the Paintbrush tool.

Like Doug says you can already do that in Zbrush. Zbrush actually started out as a 2d sketching/drawing type software, it wasn’t originally intended to sculpt 3d.

Thanks guys for the prompt reply.

Paintbrush works great but there are a few issues (which could be because I am not very well versed in this program).

  1. When i sketch in the blank space it does feels like a pencil stroke. However sketching on the mesh (which is now a 2d image after turning off the edit) feels like a Zadd. Moreover I can’t seem to make a stroke across from the mesh into the blank space when the brush size is too small.

  2. After I finish sketching, the only I know to continue sculpting is to select the sculpture from the Tools again and drag it into the workspace and turn on Edit. Not so much as continue where I last left the camera on or rotate from there.

Is ZADD on? You can use the Timeline to store you’re point of view.

Yea i turned zadd off.

I think if the brush is white it will look like ZAdd nonetheless.

Thanks guys I will use this method.
However if someone knows of a third party application that does this, please kindly let me know. It will definitely help tons.

Thanks.

You can do this in Mischief: https://www.madewithmischief.com/?gclid=CLyU8urnrMMCFQjlwgodlgMAsQ
…in the Window tab/Activate Window Opacity…when activated you will find Increase/Decrease Opacity in the same tab
