Both are great! However, I really enjoy the first one. Second one is run of the mill and not very memorable… Just another armed dude in the CG army of a billion of armed dudes, Tolkien creatures, fairies… and all that other jazz which blurs together because of the sheer volume. Your first image is something I can’t recall seeing before. The image has character and submits a mood very well.

Well, about the “Shooter”, I finished the model last week.
I made the texture using Zap LINK plugin.
and the render was made in Autodesk Softimage (XSI)
