Alien & Troll in Photo Environments ...plus my ZBrush Paint Mode Test Tips

My artwork here is after having just taken Meats Meier’s Illustration in ZBrush course at Visualarium. I am happy to post this work. I rendered BPRs in ZBrush and combined the layers in Photoshop. My goal was to integrate my artwork into photographic environments. Meat’s teaching was just what I was looking for–GREAT!. This represents a culmination of my using ZBrush for two years now. I used panel loops to develop my Alien in picture one.

And here are the images of the Troll. BPRs in many layers and composited with the photographs in Photoshop.

Also I am including some observations/tests that I’ve been making using the Paint Modes within ZBrush. The paint modes offer a lot of great paint features that are worth exploring in combination with Spotlight and I hope these tests will spark others to investigate using them when applying pictures and color overlays.
