akuma

i’m trying to do a model of street fighter’s akuma. its far far from being complete but i’d like some feedback. i’m too tired to continue on it tonite. so… and yes, i do know that the feet are horrible. still haven’t found a good way to model those… oh well… akuma.jpg

here’s a closeup of the head…

akuma2.jpg

The head looks great! Just like Gouki (Akuma)!

looks cools so far! only thing would be the thumb on the left hand looks broken or something;) .

Keep up the good work…look forward to your progress!

hey,_DADO…que buen trabajo…se nota que tiene mucha facilidad para el modelado…espero seguir viendo su trabajo…un saludo Amigo…:+1: :sunglasses:

here’s a few shots of the texture from projection master. i can’t seem to get rid of the little seams that keep popping up here and there. i’m getting tired of this model… :frowning:

nice renders Dado
try the foot tool i sent

have you tried clicking the fix seams option in the tools>texture menu?

steve, thanks for the foot tool. great help.
aminuts, thanks for the tip, i didn’t even know there was such a thing. ehhehe…
i’ve actually started remodelling the whole body from the original zspheres last night. i’ll post pics as soon as i get to a reasonable stage.

peace,
dado

yay! i went back to sculpting the mesh while keeping the zspheres. i’m very happy with the way the new model is progressing. except the head… does anyone know how i can import the old head into the new model’s zspheres? or would it just be a whole lot easier to just sculpt a new one? i know that i can use the mutlimarker tool, but i’m not a very big fan of it, as i usually tend to screw it up beyond repair. anyway. i’m going back to sculpting akuma.

hey i feel like im getting the hang of Zbrush

Hey, Akuma fan huh? Here’s a link to one of my older threads, I used Akuma there as reference character, hope you’ll find those pics useful and good luck on the hair part (It’s not easy to make such a hairdo look realistic, I know I tried :stuck_out_tongue: )

You can add a tool to a zsphere. There is a cool script included in zbrush to show you how…there is a tip on how to get the res of the zspheres to match more closely the added tool.

some more progress on the head and the lower body. and some quick color added to the final image.

Pilou

thanks steve…
yeah, i know pilou, i couldn’t get the fighting stances on the money, so he came out a bit dancy.

i’m thinking of submitting this to the street fighter fan-art contest that they have every month in their comics. does the photoshop lensflare look too cheezy? should i leave it out or just keep it in there?
