My normal map i got from zbrush is fine, but in xsi it’s barely noticable. i see no way to adjust the height using a node of sorts in xsi. so my only other idea was: is there a way in zbrush when making my map, to increase the intensity of it somehow? i’d like to double the intensity of my map. i tried using nvidia’s photoshop NM filter, but that didn’t do it either. any ideas?
Do you have any extra clusters/user normals on your mesh when you bring it over to XSI? If so, delete them. Im finding that Zmapper rocks for creating normal maps. Ultimapper in XSI is putting out very faint Normal maps for me.
