Thanks folks! Here’s a rather chaotic video of the first image. I think it’s pretty clear that I didn’t really know what I was doing until around 1:30 when I switch gears. :wink: The actual time was about an hour.

--------------------- Captain Sensible: Thanks, Cap'n! :) SpaceMan: Thanks! :) Are you maybe referring to the Nick Cave portrait? If so, that was just using the oil paints, I think. A lot of the stuff I did was experimental though so I'm not sure how helpful WIPs would be. The best tip I can give is to try everything and don't be afraid to mix brushes. The 'Watercolor&gt;Water Drops' brush is a great blender, for example. Moni-Poroni: Thanks, Moni! Ditto! :) I think you're gonna overtake many of us at the rate you're going. Etcher: Thanks, Etcher! :) I need to start adding stories to my creations like you do.

love the nick cave! and the girl with green hair, she looks like olivia wilde and that brown one looks like mischa barton, and of course i love the other pieces too, i had a feeling a few weeks ago looking at your deviant site that you were beta testing. i have to say i’m glad they upgraded the ol’ zketchpad. it was nice to paint in z again, i’ve done it a bit over the years but got frustrated with various issues, so thanks for helping them get it together.

is the brown sketchy one called classic supposed to look like mucha sketches?

the vamp girl and start/new are so really great, you put those new tools to use really well, i always love your sense of design, form and color.
you also seem to like hiding girls eyes which is something i used to do too, i think for me it was reading intron depot #1 back when that first came out but maybe something else.
looking foreward to more!
