Love the work!
Absolutely stunning! Great tips and inspiration!
Thank you so much for this look into the development process of one of my favorite games.
Thank you for sharing all the amazing work. This is awesome.
I have to say, rocks were among my favorite things about that game. Many beautiful shapes and formations. The landscapes in general were fantastic, if you’ll excuse the pun. It’s a colossal pity the game itself was so empty of meaningful content, but that’s outside the scope of this forum.
Would you mind saying how much time it took per average asset? Did you have to retopo manually at all, or was decimation enough? Favorite brushes? Any insight into the process would be great!
Congrats for the amazing work !
I’m currently playing the game and I’m stunned by the main characters’ faces and the way they animate. Also, the environments are a pleasure to wander through as they are beautifully crafted. My only crit would be that the armors seem to be highly reflective, sometimes to the point of looking like plastic toys.
Overall, great game to play as it is clear that the dev team is made of skilled people who love their jobs and were given enough freedom to offer players a great experience.
PS: I hope the character team will come around post of their work.
really amazing
Characters of DAI - by Patrik Karlsson.
Hi guys, I am a senior character artist here at BioWare.
I have been working on quite a few various things for this project.
Here are some of the assets I did for Dragon Age Inquisition in this past 2-2,5 years.
I would like to thank the team and BioWare for making this possible and you guys for watching.

Still need to add those to my page.

It’s my favorite game. I’m really impressed. To do this, how much time did you need?
