yaksha coming soon

Don’t ask me for any displacement maps, normal maps, bump maps, migrations, uv settings, modeling, texture, material, economic advice… but the signature issue… now THAT I can help you with:

Pretty simple, First copy the words in your browser (ei: http://zbrushcentral.com/zbc/showthread.php?p=282189#post282189) -that’s the link direction you’ll need later on
Then just go to the “Private Messages” link -under your welcome review- and it will lead you to your control panel window. On the left you’ll find the first link that says “Edit Signature” and there you can change it. To put a link to your Yaksha Thread, just type it in, then select with the pointer the word or words (ei: Yaksha coming soon) and almost under the smiley icon there’s a button that creates links. It’ll open a little windows so you can insert the link in the words you picked.

If you’re not sure about what you’ve done, you can always press the “Preview Post” button.

I hope it’s clear enough

Yaksha will be published very soon.

Yes we are catching up very fast, what you need to do is stick to this forums, I have learnt everything from this forums in last 6 months and I still cannot claim I know a lot :).

Zbrush has given me the edge over any other software because of its flexibility and it is a must software to learn, though a bit costly to buy but much better then other softwares we cannot even think of buying…

I also soon hope to start a training workshop on zbrush in India but after my comics publication and I will wait for release of zbrush 2.5 first.

Thanks for that loooong explaination

…mood

Always good to see people experimenting.

I find the toon effect more complimentary to your work than the areas of gradiated shading, it gives it a far stronger graphic quality. :+1:

Thanks boozy

I was going to remove that effect, because none of my friends were liking it .

Atleast now someone likes the effect.

Heres the Rabbit posed again

wckedsunny, you may be interested to know that using such brushes as the contrast brush whilst using projection master to texture your models will also help you in creating a punchy textures that will compliment he direction your going in.

Check out the native fx brushes I have a feeling you’ll find them of great use.

Cameyo also created some marvellous fx brushes some time ago http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/showthread.php?t=408&highlight=filters

Boozy

Thanks a lot for that link

Regards

sunny

Listen to boozy! It is so cool to see how other cultures develop a visual language.

Remember the web, if it doesn’t get respect in your home country, make it available to some 25 other appreciative countries via PayPal… Yaksha looks like a good time from your country of brilliant color; good luck with the images.

Yep Davinci:D

I am gonna listen to Boozy. I was bit confused as I was experimenting.

My target is to sell this comic in american and europeon countries and not only in my own country in the intial stage.

After its launch in English, I will be translating it into French and Spanish too and maybe more languages if readers like it…

Thanks a lot.

OK heres a new character a kind of RAKSHAS (demon) called GIRGITASURA

  (ASURAS- OTHER NAMES OF RAKSHAS)

He can camouflage like reptiles with the surroundings of a jungle due to his skin texture.

The mouth parts still not done.

I still not able to create really cool detailed paintings because I have to launch my comic soon but I hope my effort is still good enough

Please rate and comment.:+1:

Wicked I think you are maintaining the style of the projected comic just fine:) Its the type of style that should and will pull itself together as more pieces to the imagery are added to the storyline. It seems to me it will need to be told in a whimsical tone. What age readership are you looking for here? I wouldnt go for realistic in it but these are all nicely original characters. Dont lose sight of the overall project and I think you can make it through to completed vison. :+1:

He looks happy, for a raptor…

It’s good to see you holding to a style, but how tall is he compared to the demon and the rabbit?

=dp

Yes Tartan thats my plan to make it humorous yet very different.

Age group is for children but then my attempt is to make it an a language pattern which will make everyone go through it atleast once. Though main target are young children and teenagers- well all cartoon effects for them only  .

As I mentioned to you before that currently I am only creating what I can alone, maybe later on I will be able to create more detailed character once I get hold of good numbers of subscribers.

Davinci the demon is huge compared to both rabbit and lizard. yes they are cartoonish thats why happy

Lizard and rabbit and yaksha are all approx same size- dwarfs compared to humans.

I am still creating Yaksha

Okay, and, from your forest scene, the demon is nearly as tall as the trees?

Ok I mean not that huge

Its of a human size but compared to dwarfs its huge- from thier perspective

When they together in one scene you will get to know. wait for that.
