X-Men Sentinel Challenge

Hey everyone,

Just started with zbrush and decided to try this. Got a rough head done, but don’t think I’ll be completing an entire sentinel – or any detailing on this. Lots of edge creases used, but the model still wants very much to turn into something organic. Hope you enjoy the pictures. Any feedback would be appreciated!

Multi-markers are … odd!

After spending the better part of a week trying to come to grips with the multimarker tool I needed professional counseling and medication and still have not recovered completely:confused:

@Ophiuci
Very nice, face looks a little elongated though.

That is really cool ZBrush modeling Ophiuci! And a really cool sketch Equalizer!

About 1 hour and 20 minutes all together.

i’m seriously considering doing Nimrod, he was always my fav sentinel and generally gave the x-men a run for their money. nimrod_01.jpg

Oh this looks like fun. I agree with spaceboy412 and hope he doesn’t think I’m stealing his thunder. However Nimrod was the best. I whipped this up and hope to have a few minutes to throw the detail on with Projection Master. Then pose for a Zbrush render. I haven’t participated in a challenge for a quite awhile, but this caught my eye.

Twenty days to go:

A week to go. Still time to get a sentinel in…

Trying my best to get back to this…

Jason can you tell me how you get that soft render look please? Iv tryed all materials and messed with lights but dont look the same.

Search for Pixolator’s Dino shader and light. I modify the light a bit as I found his variant a little harsh, but that’s about it.

WhiteDinoLight.ZLI
WhiteDinoShader.ZMT

cant find the WhiteDinoLight.ZLI
that is nowhere on the net or here?

Search for Pixolator…

http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/showpost.php?p=125252&postcount=29

Download the file, the info you need is within. Another link exists as well.

Thanks jason. I see that the file in that file is a document file but seems to do nothink I must be doing somthink wrong. I asume the lighting should have got loaded with texture and 2d image in that doc?

Load the file into Zbrush, then select the material and save it out to your system, same with the light.

Anothe ZIP exists on the forum posted by Pixolator, but it has been awhile since I scanned for it.
