The human anatomy and 11 systems of the body

This has really sparked an interest in anatomy and just for that you should be commended!

Fantastic work!

I finally managed to get on with the skeleton once my dissertation was complete, so been juggling with this and the day job so to speak. Well its mostly all here, with some further detailing and changes to be made in the next couple of days. This is purposely stagnant in its pose, as it is the master file with all the bones in as sub-tools. The idea is that I can keep it all together with the correct names in place on each sub-tool. At any time I can produce and save posed arms, legs, or full skeleton and then take them into anatomical illustrations. I have to present this and what ever contextual images in two weeks time at university, and I have to say time is going way to quick :-). Thanks for your interest in this. C&C welcome.

This is what z brush is about. Im absolutely staggered by your work and attention to detail. so inspired. Thank you.

I´m amazed at the work and detail you´ve put into this skeleton. :+1: :+1: :+1:

Great work and congratulations on finally finishing your dissertation. Tell us if you don’t get a first class degree - I think there would be enough people here ready to submerge your tutors with e-mails!!

Time well spent on such an awesome model!

You people on here are so supportive and encouraging :-). I have got sooo many materials made up and will make a thread on hear tonight with a sample image of each and the material to download. Many hours of fun gone into making materials as they have such a massive effect on the final look. Well i am rendering a couple of views of the skelly to get printed in a moment at uni so i can write all over them with notes and so cant wait to see a print. thanks again

Fantastic…:grimacing:

Two small nits that a med professor might pick:

The sternum is bone, the costal cartilage forms articulations between the ribs & sternum. The texturing suggests otherwise.

The pubic symphysis is bridged by cartilage. This guy’s is open.

Fig 1 of the link is a good view of the extents of the costals.

link fixed

I may have to take it up with the ZBrush Central admins, but I can’t access the materials post. Is anyone else having this trouble?

Nevermind. I got in through the Gallery link… :o

Simply stunning Arran, you deserve top marks for this, its been amazing watching your progress. Whats your next projuect going to-be. I think alot of people here would be interested to see how you can top this, You have talent. Congrats. :+1: :+1: :+1:

I have the organs to put inplace now, gigestive, repitory, cardio, urinary and also a brain and the stem. I am considering which way to go about doing the muscular system also. I have only around 8 weeks now to take this further and also produce images within context. Such as charts, promotional imagery for drug companies, disease information, replacement joints and some others. I have a turntable reel that i want to show on here of the skeleton, and am wondering if anyone knows the best way for this. The band width restrictions on my site means that i will need to host it elswhere, but there is always issues with utube for instance in that they then gain rights to your work if you add it there. Any ideas pleas?

Regards

Arran Lewis

You could use veohtv, or youtube, but the quality will go down. How big is the file?

I am making my way through the organs of the digestive system, also the lungs and heart, which i made before in Zbrush2 and so now mush work to get them looking correct from all angles and getting them to fit this skeleton. Thanks dustbin1_uk, I used youtube in the end and uploaded a sample turntable animation, its my attempt at recently using some vid editing software and well i am not happy withthe transitions and of cource it would be better if i could zoom in and out, but i will look into that.
