I always like to see models like this that don’t go nuts with overexagerated creases and muscle visibility just to make the artist seem more talented. If you ask me this kind of realistic subtlety shows much more attention to detail and anatomical knowledge than a dude with every single muscle visible.
really nice work…
only one thing…elbows… looks too pronounced…
Finaly you divided the last part
Nice model
Very nice work!
Great job man, very nice proportions.
Can you share some ortographic views so we could use your image as reference?
Supreme effort, did you use the average man you get with Zbrush as a starting point?
Disco Stu: yes, your right, I will work on it
nickz: Thank you!
arunzb: Thank you!
Art-Machine: Thank you! Yes it was my goal too achieve a normal or natural athletic man with no exaggerated muscles.
ivar_sn: Thank you, i will change it.
Mazur: Thank you again
roger: Thank you!
montyband: Thank you!
Yes, i made some screenshots with ortho view in Zbrush
scottleroc: Thank you! No i started from scratch

Very nicely done. I would love to be able to model like this. How long did it take from start to finish?
Wow, great anatomy study! But isn’t the muscles between the shoulders and neck a bit too big for a model without exaggerated muscles? Also the lower back is very defined, he must have very low body fat(On the latest picture). But I guess it’s different what people see as exaggerated. Great work!
@ slosh
Well, i can’t tell because I started this project 1 year ago. But it takes much time for little adjustments on the proportions.
@ gaarder
Yes you are right, i will fix the neck and the back. Thank you
Changed the neck and shoulders

Very nice work man!!! Love the sculpt…
Only crit i’d have is that the teres minor and major look a little over defined on the back… maybe a little more emphasis on the scapula might help too… but yea - great sculpt! keep it up!!!
Looks better now:) If I were you I’d lower the trapezius(is that the name?) even more, and straighten the neck a little, right now he’s got a bit of Ben Stiller neck. Not neccesarily a bad thing, but if this is supposed to be an average man and a starting point for other characters it might be better with a more ordinary neck. Keep up the good work!
@ chindian
Yes your right, I have to make them smaller.
@ Gaarder
It isn’t really supposed to be a starting point for other characters, its more an anatomy study, so I made it not 100% perfect, some imperfections make him more natural.
Nevertheless i used him today as starting point for a fun doodle.
