I absoulutely love all the work that has gone in these renders! Have enjoyed each one…More of the poem? Can’t wait!
Excellent work! I think you’ve got the spirit of the poem just right and I love all the details.
YESSS!!! You hit the target. Nice distrubution of colors and a friendly composition. All elements are working together now! Your puzzleseems to be solved now.
TOPROW!
Completely charming! Works as a pretty picture and as a technical accomplishment.
I will continue the poem, can hardly wait to do the piggy although I will be teaching myself Maya in the coming weeks, so it may go a bit slowly.
As far as the top row Bas, I appreciate the compliment but my style doesn’t seem to fit with the artwork featured…
Pigsologic
I have been working away on this pig. I find that I continue to fight the projection master and have to do a lot of texturing after the figure is out of edit mode. Anyway, here he is:
Hope you like it, and of course all comments welcome!
Great Piggo!

Here is a study I’ve been working on for the Bong Tree, all in Zbrush. C & C welcome!

very nice technique and color-feeling… I like it very much, hawkline
Great work you’re doing on this. The tree is terrific, the quality of line and color (almost like watercolor) reminds me of Arthur Rackham’s work.
Looks very good this tree! Good colors! What kind of shader did you use?
The upper part of the pig looks good but the other part seems to be too far backwards. Keep on going!
OH! OH! Love the piggy!!! Also, the tree and foliage is just fantastic!! A delight for my old eyes! Thanks for sharing these!
I especially appreciate the reference to Arthur Rackham, marcus. Had to look him up. I have seen and admired his work many times without putting a name to it.
You are right Bas the bottom half of the Pig needs work. I want to keep the off balance look but less accentuated.
Here is the the tree bark material. Hope you have fun with it. What I really enjoyed was the leaf alpha that allowed me to fill up much of the canvas without having to do separate leaves. If anyone is interested I will be happy to post that too. Again thanks for the feedback, it really helps to keep this project going
Hawkline, can you make a tutorial how you made the leaves with the alpha?
Mostly I put the leaves one by one (or a group), interesting you used an alpha!
I would greatly appreciate the leaves! Also, thanks for posting the mat, lights,
and the fog curve!
enjoy the content of your scenes, also the characters style is great
good job
