Here’s the new version (with icon) tweaked for 3.5. Unzip in the ZStartup\ZPlugs folder (replacing the old version if you are using it).
You’ll find the ZoomFit button in the Zoom Menu as before.

Hey Sven. Thanks for this. Your Quick Save plug for the pics is working perfectly in 3.5 My hard drive is begging me not to use it anymore lol. Thanks again for all the work u put into this stuff.

ZoomFit might even be more useful in 3.5? 
And I guess I’m going to have to update QuickSave too - I want to provide the option to designate a specified number of backup copies, after which it loops on the name/numbers. That ought to save a lot of disk space for many people.
