If this is repeatable, and the same sub-tool(s) are missing each time, Iāll need a sample problem mesh to work with.
Now it works! (1.26) Thanks man
Only problem is when there are repeated name for subtool, the repeated one will not be included in the final result. So all I had to do was renaming so there will be no name conflict.

This is the result⦠Thanks
Subtool name 00, 01, 02, 03 ,04, 05 ā>> 04 ???

Hi, Game Master 770
My ZTL File!!!
ancomic, I managed to reproduce your error. Another visibility flag I had not seen before, which I fixed to check for simular flags I had not run into yet, as well.
The updated version 1.26b seems to run your mesh ok, but on repeated use, it will run into name duplication problems. On a fresh run of Zbrush, there should be no problems. For now this naming conflict will be listed as a known issue.
Game Master 770,
version 1.26b Zplugin submenu ???
Your small mistake?
.
Yep. Corrected now.
I downloaded and installed 1.26b and get this in the zplugin dropdown menu.
Previous versions were ok. ZBrush 3.1 WINXP.
GOOOOOD!!!
Game Master 770,
Thank you very much.
Try re-downloading it. the first copy of 1.26b had a typo.
It works, but the button is not in the plug-in area, but in the script area, at the bottom of GUI. Download again, to avoid the hassle.
That did the trick
Thank you
Game Masterā¦
I have yet to DL the new version. But i absolutly LOVE the last one. It is perfect.
Thank you so much for creating it.
a nice version , now funtion perfect for me, what can i say GM!
THANKSS A LOT .!
you are a ZB-BOY-TEAM!
Thanks GM 770 for this incredible plug-in. Have had no issues with it makin my model into 1 mesh.
But when trying to generate a normal map after the plug-ins use. I get the error message of āmesh must be composed of multiple sub-d levelsā
Not sure if its due to the plug but I used the clone method to preserve my uv layout & made sure that the tools sub-d levels were all set to 1.
Any advice would be appreciated!
Ignore above question. I figured it out and it has nothing to do with the plug-in.
Would it be possible to have an option to have the merged subtools be welded together? Basically, what I want to be able to do is take 1 continuous mesh and break it up into a bunch of subtools to get more detail in each area. Then, combine 2 or more of them to sculpt across the subtool seam. Then I can either re-split them up, reconstruct the subdivision history, export for use elsewhere etc. The way it is now it doesnāt weld them so I canāt do anything with the combined mesh other than export into other software to reweld and hope it works. Then reimport back as 1 mesh. Kind of slow work flow⦠Any ideas?
Other than that, I absolutely love this plugin. I know I am trying to do something with it that wasnāt intended but maybe if you can get that working it could be a new powerful to for us all to use on extremely detailed high poly continuous models. Iāve been waiting for HD sculpting to be fully supported by everything but that is going to be a long wait I fear.
Thanks,
Kenzie
