are not familiar with ZApplink for ZBrush in the Documents pallet?
you can paint in ZB like photo shop but ZB is currently limited to 16 layers
with spot light we will be able to paint with photos

Where is the “Mac Love”? I got the PC to Mac license and really want to play with the new tools but can’t. WWAAAAAaaaa. Can some one give a small estimate on a release date so I can get all giddy again about my favorite program Z-brush?

I love how intuitive this tool is - not technical at all - it’s as if you’re actually painting the thing in reality.

Since 3.5 was anounced, there was no information about the incoming ZB4.
So when should we expect it to come out? Somewhere mid 2010?
We’re still waiting for 3.5 for Mac to be released so I personally wouldn’t expect v4 until late in the year at the earliest.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see 3.5 skipped in favour of a simultaneous 4 release.
I’d expect version4 to be later in the year given that it took 3RCs for version 3.5 to be finalised. I’d want to have plenty of testing to make sure v4 works as it should upon release. With such a big delay I can’t see the mac version waiting that long, even given Pixologics track record.
this is so beautiful… zbrush is evolving into the ultimate single solution for everything digital creative. why have 3 different programs in your pipeline when zbrush does everything? hope it continues to develop into an awesome tool for the digital industry

We need texture painting, and Projection Master fails more than a fair shotgun!. Its a hell work with Projection Master for do texture painting and we need do it.
Please, I’m not requesting a fixed date, only an approximation… a “less or more in q4 for the year” or something.
We know us yet, we know our pre-dates are… emm… “non-accurate”, but please, if you can’t, if its impossible give it, then deceit me, but say something… aaarrgh!.

honestly this was the only reason I bought zbrush, this method of texturing is what made my decision. It seemed like this was right around the corner getting really tired of waiting, and throwing in animation features(making this wait even longer now) that hardly any of us care about isn’t making the wait any easier.
Please if this already works as good as the video shows release it I beg you.
